Lower Gallery

In the lower gallery, take a journey through time of the North Tonawanda area, from the last Ice Age to the middle of the 20th Century

The upper Gallery contains artifacts and storyboards of things and events of our city that transcends time – scouting, military, ethnic, arts & entertainment and sports & recreation.

Living in the Past
Be sure to walk through the history museum partitioned mini-rooms that display how life was lived here in the past – Ice Cream parlor, schoolroom, living room and kitchen

Archive and Research Center
Our Archive and Research Center is available for use at a modest cost or free to members! The archives contain tens of thousands of articles about people, places and events affecting North Tonawanda. The Research Library contains several hundred volumes of books and custom binders that dive deeper into the subject matter on display in the gallery. Included is a 137 volume set of the daily dispatches of the Civil War’s Union and Confederate Armies

Community Room
Our Community Room is used for museum presentations and fund raising. it also houses the museum gift shop. The Community Room is also available for use by outside organizations.
