The Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas provides support to local businesses a variety of ways.

Marketing  

The Chamber offers unique marketing opportunities to help promote our members.

• Member businesses are featured in our online and printed Membership Directory (10,000 printed)
• Events are promoted through the Chamber social media (2600+ followers)
• Referrals – we get calls all the time asking for referrals.  Of course we send them to members!
• Sponsorships and events offer the opportunity to promote your business to both members and non-members.
• The Chamber is a resource for identifying local events where you can promote your business.
• Community involvement – by being a member of the Chamber it shows your organization is involved in improving the community.

Networking

• Monthly Early Bird Networking events (8-9:30am) held at member locations
• Regular mixers & events where members (and non members) can meet other local business people
• Serve on a Committee – The Chamber offers the opportunity to participate in one of our committees such as Economic Development, Tourism, Events and more.

Education/Grants

• The Chamber offers expert speaker events on numerous topics that can help you grow your business throughout the year.
• We inform our members about workshops and classes offered by other organizations (Small Business Association, SCORE, Local Colleges) Many are free or have a minimal cost.
• We work hard to research available grants and programs that may benefit our members.  We include that info in our monthly newsletter.

Economic Development/Tourism

• The Chamber is very involved with local economic development agencies, helping promote ideas and programs that will benefit the local community.
• We actively work to promote family tourism to the Tonawandas. We are currently working on creating self-guided tours in the area that highlight history, arts, food, attractions and more.

That’s a lot of benefit for an investment of a few hundred bucks per year!

The Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas is a membership organization that provides a strong source of services, support and networking for business and industry in the Tonawandas. We vigorously promote business and economic development to enhance the quality of life through proactive involvement with government, community and education leaders.
